Fri, 13 Aug 2010 - Former president Guido de Marco passed away on Thursday afternoon, at the age of 79, two days after he was discharged from Mater Dei Hospital following what appeared to be a swift recovery from complications. DeMarco was rushed back to hospital after collapsing in his Sliema home on Thursday afternoon, and was certified dead at 1618h, with his family by his side.
